Thank you my friends, Ngaire,Dorian,Jon and Pauline for liking my little painting ! It was afun way to spend an afternoon. I may paint a few more wee birdies for gifts this year.

Your brush work is fantastic and you have a great painting of the Kingfisher.  Sorry this  picture does not show it's true colors!  Smiles for you :)

Yes Jon the photo looks darker than the original. My camera made the greens too obvious and lost the oranges on his breast that made him glow.  Oh well, it was a cloudy stormy day here when I took it . Waiting for rain should be the title. :)
