You are now doing well in the values I think on your later paintings. We all start out! Often I take a photo of my paintings and put on the computer and remove the colors turning to B&W. That really shows up good or bad values. I have always said, " I don't care what it (that particular part of a painting) is doing, as long as it is doing something!" LOL Ro

I see what you mean. The greens in the back should not be so vibrant and the right side should be more prominent in color as ti is closer to us and some highlight would do some good., on the water too. Probably the water should have some more color as it is pretty white.
I think when I made it, I had no idea about values :-)

OK, I found it. The water is good (has 3 values), and the lower left and middle of the water fall is good. In that area it appears to be splashing. Look closely, you can see 3 values. The rest of the picture looks pretty flat as all the values are similar. You might stand back from it and try to see where you think you see a slight indication of darker / or of lighter and bring that out more. Make each area have the 3 values. // I see you like to do graphite too. I thought you have some nice drawings. Ro

Wow. I just see how small it is! I try to find a bigger one.

The pic is so small I really can not see it. I can see nice reflections in the water. Great for a 2nd painting. Keep them coming! Ro
