wow, beautiful color and brush work!
Casey, it is another beautiful one. When I stay far away from the computer I can see and understand much better of the nice and interesting elements of it.
yes Casey loose is harder than it looks. like your colours. Even Richard had trouble so don't worry guys.
Thanks for the encouraging comments! I am trying to do another one but so far it hasn't come together. Looser looks easy, but it is strangely more difficult.
Lovely Casey, your paintings are always so relaxing to look at. I like how you've applied the paint so thick and juicy! I think i may have a go with these water soluble oils i'm too lazy when it comes to oil paints and i get into a mess really quickly.......
It's a beautiful painting Casey! I also use WSO's & sometimes have problems with sticky paint - have been using linseed oil to thin it which helps, but still find it difficult to apply it smoothly sometimes with a palette knife. Haven't tried Holbein yet but it's next on my list.
Casey, I've been admiring your work, it is truly wonderful.
On water soluble oils: you might want to try Holbein. It takes some time to get used to it, but, in my experience, it is the best brand for this kind of paints.
Smiles to you Casey! This is another winner for you........:))
