Great realism with the detail on the front building. I like the green shadow under the pier and the soft light on the far building. Great painting Stu
WOW. This is a great stuff. Taken care of every detail. Well done Stu.
Lovely painting Stuart.
Beautifully rendered detail in the foreground building, flowers & rocks!
Thank you all for your compliments Laura, John, Silvana and Michael. Michael, thanks for your keen eye before I ffinished it. Silvana, this took maybe 6 hours to paint. Jon, about the wagon: lots of coffee, no wine for this one; my last workshop with the big brush and credit card was the wine painting. Laura, I have been there, but no pictures; this was Richard's very nice photo reference.
Very good Stu, I thought that walkway jutted out a little!! ..I just could not be sure from the photo. I like the way you redid the flowers so they do not interfere with the wharf. All that stuff going on under the deck ....wow!!!! well done Stu! You know, you managed to make your distant building and boats look atmospheric without having it look like it is foggy!! I see that you moved the red around a bit ...good! Great painting Stu.
So many details Stu! Incredible! How long did it take you to paint it? Everything is soooo perfect!
