Thank you Michael. Appreciate your comments - haven't ventured to gallery status yet but will keep that valuable advice in mind in case I do exhibit before I'm too old and dotty. You will see I finished the painting in such haste that I forgot the bird and the figure! It's since been put in.

Very nice Robin!!   I really like your subtle gradations from the sun outward ...nothing jarring ...just transitions from one color to the next flawlessly!!  BTW, don't know if you are aware of this, but usually the vertical dimension comes first....a gallery, without seeing the actual painting, would mistake the dimension for a vertical painting.  Anyway, just a little info for you.
