Lovely to hear from you Colleen.  Yes, I am from Vestmannaeyjar but lived over 27 years of my adult life in Australia.  I loved living in Townsville, just my type of weather even though it might get a bit warm in summer.  It was quite a change coming back her again and took quite a few years to get adjusted again but we have warm houses and good cloths, I do miss it though.

I have heard about your drought and will pray for rain to come your way.

My goodness Steinunn.  From Townsville to Iceland is a huge change of climate!!!  Townsville being such a warm place to live and I suspect that Iceland is not.  Yes, I am a born and bred Queenslander!  Much of the state has been suffering with a very severe drought so we are all praying for some good rain.
