I am a bit late entering Workshop33 but here it is. I could not get the red that Richard talked about so used Vermilion hue, do not know if it makes any difference. I started ok with the mountains I thought but had a bit of a difficulty finish the bottom part. This was a new experience for me and I thoroughly enjoyed. And Richard, I hope you do not mind "no sheep".

Thank you Richard for your comments, I can see the foreground needed to be a lot darker but that was after all my intense work and by then I was getting a bit late to start again.  Thank you again Richard and Michael for given yourself time to critique my painting, I really appreciate it.

- except, yes to what Michael said - needs more variety in the mountains angles.

:-) No sheep is fine. Looks like you didn't go dark enough with the darks in the foreground, but the mountains look great.

Michael, thank you for your criticism and I do see your point but will leave it be for now.

Hi Steinunn,   Always  be diligent for sameness in angles, lines, shapes, etc.  All of your shapes and angles are alike in those 3 mountains.   Also, be aware that your darkest darks would be in the foreground plane.  Your foreground needs more strength to pull it forward.

Well done Steinunn!  I love the mountains, their colours and the depth.

Thank you for you comment Fay.  Yes, I find it quite challenging to paint from someone else´s painting and tend to go off the track at times, like shows!.

You've done really well with this painting Steinnun.  I agree with you that the foreground wasn't easy!

Thank you so much Ann, where would we be without Richard!  I learned a lot from this exercise.
