Now I see what you mean, and yes, yes, I agree with you all of it. May be it's because
On the first version, I wanted to convey what I felt over there and this time I focused to "fix" without that feeling. And you point it out!!! Very interesting!

When I paint, I'd like to share how I felt in there with viewers. So I start painting with excitement
Trying to carry it until the last stage of the process,
then I often end up with feeling of "unfinished"......with no idea...

Comment by Michael J. Severin on July 28, 2014 at 8:38: On this version, your distant fog bank closes in the depth and takes away that nice atmospheric quality you had in the previous version. The simplicity, atmospheric depth, and tonal harmonies of your previous version was its virtue. In the previous version, there was wonderful harmony between the sky and the foreground ..the addition of the fog either changed the tonal quality of the blue ...or you repainted it ..I do not know, but I think it was important to the overall feeling of your previous painting. Please do not take me wrong ..this painting is excellent ..BUT, for my own personal likes, I prefer the original. You are the artist and you have the last say on it ..:))
