   These houses were built in the middle of 19th centurary. One of my friends lives there. She said that the end of the world is coming at the end of Dec of 2012. She wanted me to paint this neighborhood as she told me that these beautiful houses would be all gone at the end of the world. So , I did it for her. Not because that I believed what she said. I just wanted her to have a peaceful mind. She was so happy even gave me$100 for thanks. I took the money. I will give her the painting when it is dry and being vanished.

What I want to tell you is that this is the first time I paint house in so many details. I used all what I learned in our workshops. As she wanted me to paint it as it was. I did not do the composition work. But I created some part of the houses covered by the greens. I used Notan, Value study, color study, workshop14 technics of painting bushes and palm tree. workshop16 technics of perspective effects, colour calling from sky, and color contrast....  Although it is definitely not perfect, I am sure without learning from those workshops, I could not even dare to do it. These workshops give me not only know-how but self confidence.
