I started out trying to paint a floral in the style of Daniel Keys. He paints lush still lifes alla prima in a very loose style while giving the appearance of detail. A great example is Andri's paintings that he posted recently. My flowers are definitely looser. Oh well, I will try again. Love to hear your comments. 10 x 20 acrylic

Thanks Roena, my customer was very pleased when she received painting
Absolutely beautiful. I can see why this sold. Congrats to you!
Oh Sharon, how exciting that this painting sold. That sure can put a big smile on your face. I am so happy for you and glad you shared your good news. Roena
Sharon, you are absolutely right.
Thanks Pandalana and Ningning, I don't paint many still life paintings but plan to do more in the future. I do enjoy painting close up subjects such as the lemonade which might be called a still life. I love to paint the intricate details of God's creations or a beautiful landscape or majestic clouds, the subjects for our paintings are endless.
Very beautifully done!
I always admire people whom can paint flowers. It is very beautiful!
Thanks everyone, looks like this one SOLD as is. So excited!
This is a lovely painting Sharon. I like the positioning of the flower lying on the table. It feels like they are moving towards the canvas. I agree with Roena about the shadow under those flowers, it would probably give that area more depth.
This is a lovely painting Sharon, and a very sweet story behind them. I really like the softness of the roses, and the looseness. Great colors too.
