beginner/realistic but trying to be looser, more impressionistic, atmospheric, relaxed

Who are your favourite 2 artists?

I really like Richard Robinson's style, which is why I'm interested in the workshop challenge. I also love elements of the impressionists, modern masters like Georgia O'Keefe, and many of the local artists here in Virginia. What a hard question!

Do you have any goals for your painting?

Yes, definitely. I want to paint images that bring me joy. I want to be free and loose in my brushwork so that the feeling people get from looking at them is free and loose and joyous. I need to have the techniques to do that.
