Hello Ya'll...so glad to find Richard's sites; have been enjoying his emails, and hopefully am learning from them. I'm a part-time developing Artist and am looking forward to the time when I can devote more time. One thing I would like very much is to be able to experience plein air soon. I'm excited for the opportunity of getting to know each of you. Have a blessed life!

Thank you Candy.  It's lovely to hear from you.  Let's hope we both have more time to paint in the future.  My painting has taken a side line to a busy life on acreage lately and I really haven't found the time to pick up a brush.  We are heading away for 2 months holiday into the Outback next week.  I'm hoping to find time to paint somewhere along the way.  :-)

Thank you for the welcome, Candy.  I am excited to be a member of this community.  I alway seem to make more time and do my best work in the company of other artists.

Nice painting by the way.  Looking forward to more.

I visited your page and liked the style. My favorite is Little Boy Blue.

Thank you for your friend request Candy.  I'm very happy to accept!  I really love that parrot painting just above where I'm typing.  It's beautiful!

Well thank you Cindy, I really don't talk to people too well, I've been in my little art world all my life this is what I do best, and yes I do like your art work very much,

I am a very bad critic when it comes to art.

What I like to paint is the Ozarks, so many things there to paint.

I have several paintings I have given away, I'll try to post a few????

Hi Candy.  Thanks for the welcome.  I've been going through Richard's "Mastering Colour" DVDs and am finding them quite useful.  I'm looking forward to doing the August workshop (which will be my first one).

Cheers

Peter

Hi Candy and thank you for the comments.  I do hope you can fit in Plein Air Painting.  It really makes you aware of what you are trying to capture in nature.  We think we are observant as we paint and it was not until I started Plein Air, that I became aware of how much I missed!!!  AND still learning (and will be for the rest of my life).  AND I have

a big 'thank you' to Richard.  I am NOT computer savy, and it takes away time from my painting, but now that I have found his site, my attitude has changed.  So----onward!
