HI EVERYBODY!! I found extremely interesting and challenging, RICHARD ROBINSON'S "Beautiful Grays" YOUTUBE video, and the notes on MASTERING COLOUR. RICHARD'S view on colour is very lively and I am trying to get the knack of it.... which is indeed a challenge!
I would appreciate all your critiques on light effect, colour harmony, greys... and of course, your first feeling evoked by my painting of my son SPARKLING SANTIAGO. It is a live portrait done in 45'...
THANKS A MILLION!!…

Lol! No problem Carol! What I do, is when I open 'The Complete Artist' page, I click on the images which you can find at the right. It is like a slideshow, and they have numbers. The one where 1 is written means it's the last one which was uploaded. Once open, you may comment or like or simply look at it. At the top, I then click on 'next', and pic 2 will be seen! When you comment, unless you decide not to, you'll receive a mail each time a comment is written on that painting.
I've become kind of anaddict to this site... It's so helpful, andI have learnt So much!Artist around the world are very kind and the critiques are really very constructive!
Thanks Carol!!! Yes definitely! I have watched all of Richard's videos as he sent tem, but one tends to forget! Thanks for the reminder!
Carol, you do add it as a photo, after adding the photos, you describe it, generally with the medium, size, or whatever you would like to add. Hope this helps you! Whatever you need, and I can help,I'll be pleased to do so! :)
About the 'darkening' bit, it was towards the left of your son's head, in the background. Hope you coud see it in the comments under your painting!
Carol, just click on your uploaded picture and you'll see all the comments and at the top of your picture, towards the right you can see 'options'. The size, is the original size of your painting. You can place it inin or cm. People here generally write the size in inches. As I measure in cm, next to the number I add cm. Sometimes I take the trouble and convert it to in!
