Galina, thank you for your kind words, I have taken a further step into the world of painting. I have just bought a set of water soluble oils and tried as my first study, an alla prima painting of a friend, really loved the ease of blending with the oils. I think I'll try an acrylic/oil combination of a larger painting and upload it when its finished.

I live in Hafnarfjörður, a suburb of Reykjavik, in the south west corner of Iceland. We have lots of snow here like you do in Canada. So that's something to paint :)

Canada has a special place in my heart after my student years at U. of Saskatchewan, way back.
