So that I understand........my white ding on the egg is in the middle of the white highlight that is already there......NOT........brighten the entire white highlight that I painted already. AND small dings in the middle of the white highlights on the material.............///// Have you seen Richards 2005 paintings of the girls swinging on the rope swing in the white dresses? http://www.newzealandartist.com/z195.htm That is one and there are 2 others. The point in that is that "white" is not pure white, but appears to be white when you tint the white with a color and then surround it with its complement. I have attempted that idea and not put it in the gallery yet. I just does not have that "white punch" that the little girl's dress has. Thinking back to your teacher......should I just give up and slap a "small amount" of white on the edges of parts of the tree?
You're most welcome.
To add your paintings, just go over to the right hand side of the screen, under where your name is, then just below the settings icon, there is a box with "Quick Add". Click on this, scroll down to "Photos" & Click. When it opens, click the browse button & direct it where to look for your paintings. Hope this helps.
Look forward to seeing your work. :-))
