How would you categorize your painting style?

American zen abstract/collage

Which medium do you prefer? eg. oils, acrylics, etc.

Oils and watercokors. I also work with fabric and thread, art quilts etc.

Are you a full time artist?

Full Time

Who are your favourite 2 artists?

Turner and Rembrandt. Rembrandts layering of color talks to me and Turner's style and grand vision resonates.

Do you have any goals for your painting?

Still figuring out what I'm about. What I think versus what I do successfully still not in sync. I'm fighting a deep held belief that I can't possibly be an artist, especially a painter. Because I didn't grow up drawing. I thought I'd be a scientist. I see/think about pattern more than form. But it turns out that at heart I'm a painter.
