Michael Lang has not received any gifts yet
I have been drawing and painting all my life without any training until 2010, when I started attending a studio with tuition half a day a week. In the past I painted mainly in watercolour, but in the last few years, I've immersed myself in oils and I love it. I have read many books (around 80) on various topics and artists.
In 2011 I started the Virtual Art Academy course (virtualartacademy.com), a home-study course with an online campus.
I live in London and make the most of the wonderful art museums here (almost all free) and the numerous commercial galleries to study paintings at first hand.
I have lived and worked in Brazil too (Rio de Janeiro) where I enjoyed seeing the styles of painting there and returned to London with a number of paintings that I bought! I have lived too in Canada (Calgary) and Nigeria.
The Complete Artist is a friendly social network for all artists wanting to improve their painting.
