Profile Information

How would you categorize your painting style?
No style LOL. Everything I do comes out looking abstract.
Which medium do you prefer? eg. oils, acrylics, etc.
Acrylics
Are you a full time artist?
Some Time
Who are your favourite 2 artists?
I'm really dreaming, but I would love to learn how to paint flowers likeHenri Fantin-Latour. A current artist I admire is Lena Karpinsky.
Do you have any goals for your painting?
I am a nurse, but I live in Germany (air force wife) and am not working so I decided I was going to learn to paint. I took a drawing class 2 years ago in Monterey. I've been painting alot but I want to take it more seriously now and learn as much as I can. I just love to paint and would love to be able to impress others with it and give them to people as gifts someday and even perhaps make some income with it.

Thanks, Stephanie. It's 92 x 61cm (3' x 2') in size, and I have it up on a wall where the light enhances the colours. I looked at your still life, and Wow! Impressive! I haven't yet painted one.

Hi Stephanie, Thank you for your welcome.  Really enjoying looking around and reading all the comments.  Love your paintings they are so diverse and exciting keep up the good work! Also liked your comment about trying not to think about what you'd like to paint but concentrate on the task at hand.  Sounds a bit like me! Cant wait to get stuck in myself.  : ) polly
