Do you have any goals for your painting?: To improve, for my own satisfaction. I have painted, at times during the last 40 years and always been distracted. Now 85 and with eyesight problems I want to try and achieve a looser style of painting . Colour is important to me.

Early snow.

Tried this painting of early snow. I don't think I spent enough time thinking about it before painting. I tend to alter things as I go. Not ideal !

Greetings. I am not really into the world of blogs but have just been allowed to join as a member of this painting group.

I am 85 years old and have what is known as macular degeneration. This has the effect of now giving me slightly distorted vision which can be both amusing and frustrating. Things aren't always where I think they are. This might be helpful with some of my brush strokes.
