Thank you, Susie. I wanted to write to tell you how much I enjoyed your blog, but I couldn't because we were not friends. Now we are and I can tell you officially. I so admire your goal of painting every day. It is clear how you have grown as an artist. You mentioned that you have been working in Johannesburg Vloothuis' online classes. Stu told me about them, and I purchased his first four. I can't believe how much I have learned in such a short time. I tried getting into his Rocks class last Saturday, but it was full. I forgot about EST time. I'll try again this Saturday. Anyway, thanks for your friendship. I love your ID photo of you and family.

Susie, You are the one of guys care about me most. You take time to analyze my work and tell my how to improve by the words from your heart. You paint so well but more than that you are beautiful perpson as you concern about others. You know  some people just interested in themselves indifferent to others. You are not. When you see people in a wrong place ,you suffer for them and reach out your hands,  try to get them out of there.   I love you and treasure you as a friend and need you! I changed my work a bit made it from high fever to low fever. Next one I will keep your words in mind , I promise. Another thing, as my native launguage is not English, I have to look out dictionary to write comments. I use wrong words or words not express myself correctly, please not be bothered. I almost made a mistake to praise a work as " It is a very fresh painting", then I realized that fresh also means strange , rear or odd. So I changed it to Jucy. I have to spend  much more time to choce a word than the native speakers. I understand you so well, You have a good intention but people may misinterpret it.  Susie, it is not my case at all. You are a good painter and very beautiful lady. Let's keep helping each other and happly painting.

Susie, thank you very much for your comments . Not picky at all. I need people like you to make me better. I altered the color of the river, put some shadows under the stones in the river and put some orange on the grass at the foreground. It looks better now. I agree with you about the size of the grass, but I did not change them as these defects can remind me where I should improve.  I will not upload the photo of my  improved painting. Having the help of you and other friends and our teacher, after 12 workshops, I will definitely make a big progress.

Hi Susie, I live in Massachusetts.  I didn't do last month's workshop, but am doing this one!  Richard R is the best teacher and artist!  I like the color in your work.

Hi Susie.  Is Columbus Indiana the town with the buildings designed by really famous architects?  I think I saw something about it on TV a few weeks ago. What do you do in Columbus?

I live in a really small town in PA.  It is the home of Bucknell University. We have a B&B there.  When I can, I teach beginner watercolor classes at a local museum.  I take an oil painting class at the YMCA art center in a neighboring town.

Jane
