The photo section:

I find most of the critiques or reviews of members works are very uninspiring. My thoughts on the subject are to be thought provoking and I think the appreciation of someone elses work is through the eyes of that individual. Comments shouldn't be cutting as this type of artistry is for me very self fulfilling and for pure self enrichment. Basics Needed - and I really mean Basics!

Hi, I realized that with all Richard's wonderful info on color and lighting, I would love to see something on 'how to prime a canvas'. I have painted on art store canvas for years, and never liked the way the paint 'fades' into the weave. Maybe its time to learn! Hope to hear from you soon - all the best, Robere

Happy New Year!

I did this at my buddy Rubino's place. I came over to study this skull for a self portrait painting I'm working on. It was a fun study and a great way to wrap up the end of the year. Happy New Year everybody!
