This was brought to my attention a couple of days ago and found it quite interesting.

We have all heard of the rules of three (the black lines)

The golden mean (the red lines)

The diagonals (the blue lines)

and last the golden spiral (the green lines)

Notice approximately  where they intersect.. So which one is correct.

Here it is Dec in the high country and still out paining along the creek. A bit chilly, just dress warmer.

getting a good start for some backgrounds for my western art stuff. This year I plan on doing horse packing paintings in the mountains genre.

Had two great days of plein air work. Was able to finish three pieces. The weather is still a bit warm but was able to go out mid day in quite awhile. Great to sleep in for a change.
