Well, I don't know if I will keep doing this, but let's just see where it goes. I've been very inspired by some of the 'Daily Painters' you can find on the web. It's a great opportunity to hone my skills on little studies and also let people purchase paintings which aren't too expensive. My thought for this composition was that the two baby tomatoes are captives of the bun, waiting for the big bite. Thought it was kind of funny so I enjoyed this painting not only for it's study value but also in thinking about these two little characters as I painted them.

Thanks Karen, I took a leaf out of Carol Marine's book and painted the board all red first, then wiped most of it off. This seems to unify the colours.
