Hi My Friends, Just wanted to share a fun and encouraging experience that happened this week. I had a message from a lady on my site that I didn't know. She said that her mother had recently passed away and when going through her mothers things she found a painting that had my signature and a number on the back. Did I have any information regarding the painting ? It was a painting that I painted in 1982, one of my first oil paintings. At the time I had no experience painting and I used a Robert Foster book for information and painted from my own imagination. My husband had the painting at work in his office. A lady in the office loved it and bought it for $99. Now 30 years later that painting is still loved and will hang in a new spot in the home of the next generation. My painting was in the family dinning room and the grown children are all fond of it. We never know where the painting we create, with love, will end up but hopefully the joy we put into them will continue to shine many years later. Happy painting to all of you and may your art find a place in the hearts of a family where it will be enjoyed and serve as a reminder of someone or sometime special.
