It's very liberating returning to the same spot and giving yourself different challenges. In this first painting I wasn't happy with the darks - they seemed all a bit too blue and uninteresting, so I was glad to have the chance to try again with another approach. Being a demo for Diane I didn't really cut loose with #2 as much as I would have liked, but I still really enjoyed it. Which one do you like the most? 1 or 2?
