So I took my monochromatic self portrait into color, and played with cropping.  So, here it is, after a lot of staring into the mirror…. Please do provide your feedback… :)

This is very good, Faisal.  "A composition is good when experienced people feel that nothing in a particular work of art could be changed, moved, or eliminated without damaging the esthetically satisfying appearance of the work" Ralph Fabri.

My only critique:  it needs something about the eyes, maybe a darker value next to a lighter area.  You might fiddle in photo edit program to see what helps.  In the thumbnail the eyes look very dark, but in pic above I think it needs a spark on one eye.  You have a highlight, maybe a dark next to it…  sometimes just a spot makes a big difference.

I love it Faisal. I have yet to try anything like this but I hope to soon. I am not the best to judge this but I think you did a very good job with it. John
