I painted this for Weber's Torrit Gray Challenge.  I felt like I learned alot about values and design in doing this painting.  Looking forward to my next color painting with some new thinking about values an design!

Happy Painting,

Eddie

Hi Rose, I used Mars which I believe is more transparent.  Have fun!

Love this! I just got a tube of Torrit Gray in my Blick order. Can't wait to try it. What black did you use? Mars or Ivory? Beautiful work!

Hi Julie, this was done in oils using Gamblin's Torrit Gray, Black and White.  http://www.gamblincolors.com/contest-2011/guidelines.html  Thanks for nice comments.

Hi Eddie - great work and what a great moody composition.  What medium is this done in and is there a separate website for the challenge?
