Finally got around to painting a colour version of this - two years after I made this video:

Incidentally, I was experimenting with Holbein's Duo Aqua water soluble oil paints with this painting, and the one below and I love them!

I started out with Artisan's 12 years ago and spent a year painting with them, haven't tried them since then but from memory and from other comments I've read I believe Duo Aqua is better.

Simply beautiful paintings! I learned that you experimented Holbein's Duo Aqua water soluble oil paints with these two paintings. Did you ever used Artisan Water Mixable Oil Colours? These are the colors I am using for all my paintings and would like to know from you if the Holbeins duo-aqua are better and closer to the regular oil paints.
