You are so lucky to be able to go to classes with Vonnie Sterritt - too far for me to go regularly but wouldn't mind attending one of her workshops sometime- a day with other artists is always inspiring and stimulating.

I don't ever sign in and I have never posted any homework, but I love Jo's teaching. I saw yesterday that Xiao Li is doing the trees course and I know that Vida Evenson and Barb Sawyer are doing it too. I think that you are the expert user among the five of us and that you are really using Jo's critiques to improve your work. I am also an early riser and a true night owl. I actually feel that for me the early morning is my best time to paint; I do know that going out in the morning to paint outdoors is definitely my best time. I will find out what my name on WC is and start posting there in the forum. Stu

I keep seeing you on WetCanvasLive as well; you must really be a nightowl to do those courses live from New Zealand. If I keep on painting New Zealand landscapes, I'm definitely going to have to come visit all these places and paint some of the au plein aire.
