Heck, I don't know Mario, I just thought it sounded good!! ....NO. just kidding, It means: Heavenly, airy, and exceptionally delicate ...all attributes that made me pause and stay awhile whilst admiring your painting.
That's great that you love to try, that's the best part of being creative. Being an architect is very creative and hard work.. I nearly became an architect a long while ago. Keep painting and keep loving it. Thank you for your comments.
Thank you so much Mario for your encouraging comments... really appreciate it. I'm still new here, it's so good to be able to talk to other artists and share feedback.
Thank you Mario - that painting of my grandson was a real turning point for me. It was my first large watercolor painting. It was incredibly challenging, but I so wanted to capture that expression on my grandson's face.
You are very welcome, Mario! Your work is very nice. It has been quite a while since I have done any watercolor, but you are making me want to try another one soon ( =
Hi Mario. Regarding Your question about what are warm and cool colors in a painting. I don't think I am good enough to answer that in a few sentences ....Whole books have been written on this subject!!! I am not trying to get out of answering your question, it that I just do not know HOW to answer it ...just not qualified enough to know where to begin. Please let me suggest that you get Richards video titled: "Mastering Color" . He goes into depth on this subject. Also, there are many books out there on color theory which will answer your questions better then I can do. I would like to say that your great paintings do NOT show a lack of understanding of color!!!! Okay, Mario, thanks, my friend. ..sorry I could not be of better help.
you are already turning out oil paintings of gallery quality. Watercolor should not be that hard for you although it takes getting used to painting light to dark (later you can break this "rule" like all rules :-)) I'd be glad to paint along with you.
Whether you say you can or can not, you'd be right in both cases LOL
