Your web site needs a little work. When I came into the Complete Artist, Group Painting, I found the slice I was assigned was 26. When I looked it up, it did not agree with the partial picture at the bottom of the site, and the slice was already done, not based on number, but on picture. Thus, I have no idea what you want, and I can not do it at this time.
Hi Richard.....Thanks...I have to say, your work shows that you are the consummate professional...Your work is stellar........but , you are probably pretty aware of that...Warm Regards....Tom
Richard, I didn't think that you were on my friend list on this site, but I see that you are; maybe it happened through Facebook. Anyway, I am happy to be more active on TCA and like what you are doing with your lessons and with the group project and getting artists into major art publications like IA and AA. Kudos to you. Stu
The Complete Artist is another art site where artists can post their work and receive critiques from fellow artists. It’s similar to Facebook in that you can add friends, post your photo and see their profiles, but the similarity ends there. . . the content is strictly about art, plus they have some tutorials and videos from the head of the site: painter, teacher and author Richard Robinson.
This site is free as well, and you start off by registering with a username and password. Make friends, share your work, get feedback, and if you’d like, you can even sign up and get free lessons, tips and techniques from Richard himself in your email inbox.
Your last paintings have been awesome! Such beauty!
I have not received anything from you, and I am thinking you may not have noticed my change of address. A little "j" has been added in front of the old address. I hope you have not eliminated me from all privileges because I have not submitted paintings. Only one, way back! I would very much like to read your critiques. Possible? I still have one workshop left, as I paid for three. Thanks, Maria Plezbert
Hi Richard. Just back from San Francisco. The America's Cup has just gone too long for me to stay. Met many great Kiwi's and almost always mentioned you and your work. Unfortunately most had not heard of your work so I always promptly introduced them to your web site on my cell phone. All were impressed so I hope you get some new customers soon. Regards, Jim Delk
Hi Richard,
This is such an interesting workshop. I have never glazed, probably because I didn't know how. I am loving your demonstrations...as always. I was wondering what brand of paint you use. My Ultramarine Blue, even with white added, never looks like yours. Also, I love the short handled brushes you use (not the one you used to lay in the first pass). What are they?
Thank you.
Nancy Sands
Your paintings are breathtaking no matter which country you are painting at. I had computer trouble again, as always. I must have a mental block toward computers. I would like your opinion on tablets or pads. Since I only need a computer for emails, your course and simple stuff, why suffer so much with computers, right? so my question to you is which of these new objects (pads, tablets, etc) would be most adequate for me to continue my modest online affairs -as described. Is there a tablet that would be most appropriate? Please respond. I have signed up for three workshops and have been unable to participate even on this August workshop. Don't want to give up, though.
Thanks, Richard. Haven't heard from you then found out my email to you was not delivered.
Richard, what do I do to get your demo painting from Workshop22. Also, I think I have all the DVDs or downloads that you have done, so winning the likes doesn't do much for me; I will check and see if there are any I don't have. I stay on this site with you for all the great people that I have met and for the continued stimulation of your monthly challenges. I am definitely going next April to the plein air convention; so I hope you will be there again, because I really do want to meet you in person and actually watch you paint. Thanks for all you do; this is really a great site. I will check all my videos against your website, but let me know if you don't have my address, how I can get my RR original! Stu
Touche Richard, and thanks for viewing. I'm trying to get my feet wet in oils and get out of my comfort zone. The next one I'll set up for oils, shaky legs or not :-) That's what motivated me to sign up on your site.
Thanks Richard, Glad to be aboard. You put together a wonderful website and admirer your work. I'll pass along the little I have as I get the hang of blogging. Thanks for the welcome, ken.
Richard, thanks for the download California Painting. My husband and I just returned from a holiday in December in CA. We stayed 3 weeks and I took 1700 photos. Great place and I love you diary.
I moved and in the confusion lost all my passwords, including Paypal's. I have been monkeying with them, a bit frustrated. They do not accept my answers; a waste of time!
I had placed an order for DVD Workshop 5, ($45) and on line video for the wharf ($10). tried to pay and can't. Can I forget Paypal and just pay with my MasterCard? I loved your critiques of the wharf (California?) You can respond at plezbert@aol.com. Thanks
Richard - I have a busy month and have not joined workshop20 in April, but sadly I have not been able to access Workshop 19 now and see the winners, and neither am I able to access previous workshops. I have gained so much from your workshops I am amazed at the progress I have made. Dorothy
