Oh yes, I see the his influence in the last 2 you did. Cameras, computer monitors, and all make a big difference. Your painting look more opaque, and his "On the Peak" looked like he did a lot of glazes. Did he tell you what brand of paint he used? Did he do any glazes in your workshop? I think you have done fine work, and if you keep after it you will develop your own paintings with your special touch using this technique. Thank you for sharing it with me. Ro
Okie Dokie Linda........I am over hear laughing because I am thinking I wish I could paint like you and you just came back and said you wanted to paint like me! Whooooo Hoooooo How cool is that! LOL ro
I have only done a few really colorful paintings. It took those for me to get out of the fear (almost) of using color. I felt like I was "wild". he he I hope to get braver and braver. I am working my way through Richard's color course and I had one on line one before that..........hope I can just explode with the knowledge and do some really good ones! I have given my self 2 months to finish Richard's course, then I am back to some serious painting. I just wanted to say how much I admire your "no fear color". Ro
Hi Linda, Welcome to the site. Sounds to me like we have the same goals (almost). I added learn about color. I am taking Richard's color class at the moment. Do you have it? There is a place under FORUM / COLOR to put your efforts if you do. Or just go read (?). For a quick jump-start the art is under PHOTOS. I encourage you to not only look, but to give the artist some comments/feedback as well. I think everyone wants some encouragement from other artist. I look forward to seeing your art. Ro
