Roena
I posted some pictures of my artwork today and the little Zebra is a lino cut that was accepted into the open print show at Federation Gallery in Vancouver last year. I was pumped as it was open worldwide, not just to members.

Just getting a chance to go through the pictures you sent. Thankyou greatly. You sure have a good eye for the photo.
I am just getting ready to teach a lino cutting and monoprinting class. Am working on a wave photo, trying to figure out how may blocks I will have to carve.
When you get the first visitor on your mountain top property let us know. LOL
You must hike alot.

Thank you, Roena, this info!
As you do, I'd like to paint something not realistic, but I still do not know what and how, so I went back to basics, starting to paint still life and landscape sketches, oh

Also Roena I have just read your comments on my paintings so thank you very much. I do live in a lovely part of the world and will always want to live near the sea.......the tide was right out in the one with the boat and I used artists licence to put a few more sandstone rocks, so the entry is not that narrow.........all the best Joy X
Your work has such a delicate feel. I especially love your forest scene with the vivid fauna on the right. And the field of flowers with the stunning sky is excellent!
Hi Roana. I just sent Sebrina a note. I'm in no hurry. I've got so many things going with my art that I am trying to face the reality that Rome was not built in a day.
Anyway, I don't have photo shop - I have some other generic program that can't do the fabulouse things that your talking about.
I just viewed some of Richards videos on the spot light effect and it has refreshed my memory. But I would love it if you would take my photo and put it in your program and play with it and send me what you've done. Thank you so much. This is so much fun.
I told Richard a couple of weeks ago that he had something really big for the future with this "Complete Artist" ning website. It's very cool
Thank sfor the welcome Ro - just finding my way around at the moment
:)

I would say just on the egg as that would really highlight the egg...if you did it on the material too maybe it would be too much....or maybe just small dings on the material....just in the middle of the white highlights that are there now......hope this helps as I am on the road of learning with you too.........Joy
Hi again! No, the waterlily painting STILL isn't finished! - After a year, I'm still only painting the third coat! Unbelievable! - and it's only a little painting, too! Yes, - layers again!
Thankyou also for your comments on my Asian Still Life painting. That one was a real challenge, but I feel it's also my 'prize' painting. - Worth the effort!
Hi Ro. It's funny seeing you on this site! :)
Thankyou for your comments on my shells. - I adore them! I've got bowls of them and have also worked them into a wallhanging based on the Barrier Reef!
Thank you Ro. Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I am just now getting pictures up. I have already purchased one CD from Richard and will probably buy the one on color. Everything I know I have figured out by myself which has left me with many questions and a lot more to learn.......Melanie
