NORTHERN EXPOSURE!
Sometimes when I go out to do a chore that has need of doing, I realize how much we have lost, as far as seeing the big picture, the world is full of distractions' and at those times I feel the sense that we are rushing headlong into a place that will rob us of the ability to see and understand who we are and where we are. those times always make me want to paint somewhere that in my minds' eye would be a more beautiful and natural place to belong. so this is my idea of a place of peace. this painting I did tonight after being out all day, and feeling weary of all the commercial aspects we have to deal with to live in a forest of cement, steel and glass.I hope this little glimpse of my idea of peace, is a good one, it was painted in oil on a 30x36 canvas.
