I painted the leaves partly from memory, partly from what i still could see from those that were still up. Not an ideal thing to do.
I am currently not signed in to VAA but do consider to go back there again. It's an almost endless recource for learning at any stage. I found it particulary usefull to start with painting in 2012 and worked myself through most of the assignments of the old VAA program. The new program came out by the end of 2013 and is even more comprehensive. Michael has joined the program at a later stage and at another level of skill. You may have guessed it :-)

You'd never know you had problems with them!

I checked out Virtual Art Academy, after seeing Michael's comment about it, saw that you are also a student there!   I might have to give that some consideration; but you guys were both probably really advanced before starting their courses though!

Thank you Candi, again! I had my problems with the leaves because they dried and fell together quickly under the heat of the light bulb. Next time i would start out painting the leaves not the reds. Glad they are okay anyway. Coming back to this makes me think about composition and how make it more interesting. The form of the fruit looks a bit clinched too. Think that happened while working on the complex surface pattern.

I am particularly amazed by the leaves (and the top of the strawberry turning back into them)  I keep coming back to this and blowing it up!    Really nice little work!!!
