Great painting. I particularly like the variation of colour and tone from left to right with the grasses and I love the delicate flicks of pale long grass juxtaposed with the gate in the foreground.

I agree with Ann, very nice Suzanne.  I think I would like to see the shed a little brighter and warmer where the sun is hitting? ...Your lightest light is in the sunlit grass ...making it the focal point? ....is that what you intended to do? ..if so, then we need something there to hold our interest ...some sheep maybe?

I like the view you have painted. It allows for more interest in the depth of the painting, also you were able to control the light from left to right/dark to light. The open gate also invites us in with accompanying shadow echoing the grey of the building
