I really like your painting. Your brushwork is loose and looks like it was fun to do. Also like the colors you used. I see what you mean by using raw umber - made the darker color more opaque. Viridian green would have made the red darker and kept it more transparent. I still love it !

Thank you Jon. The boat was so busy so  wanted everything around it to be a little more quiet. I am disappointed with my darks. I wanted them to be transparent instead of a block of dark. I added raw umber to the red to give it a darker tone. Bad idea as it is a SO paint. Oh well Ill try again next time.
