Danielle and Luke on the Beach after Richard Robinson

12 x 12" oil on Belgian linen canvas. Big challenge getting that figure right, I rubbed the hair off twice and it took over two days to complete. I enjoyed this exercise very much. So much to learn from this lesson, thanks RR, a great workshop

thanks Jessica and Diane, as I found Danielle's hair so difficult, I appreciate your comments very much Diane . I think my problem was my underpainting of darks was too thick and once I realized that and corrected it, it became much easier.

Very Nice Glenys, Love the hair-really shows the wind movement in addition to the colorful waves in the water.  Great shape development with your forms as well.
