Pauline, you know the trick. That is exactly what I think out teacher want us to learn. The contrast by all means. But I have to be careful not put on too much details on the figures or the painting would not be harmonized by style. The only thing I just could not put on the broad brushwork were their skins. I struggled a lot in mind. Then follow my feelings by carefuly rendered those young tender skins out. Thank you, Pauline .
Silvana, thank you.

Super Ningning!!!
George, Happy to hear from you again. Thank you for your approval. I agree with your suggestions. I will put some more bright spots on their skin and hair. I need your help, my friend.
Siobhan and Jessica, Thank you for your nice words. I am very encouraged. You know, this type of job needs a lot of paciance. I do not think that I will paint skins again for the next work . Too difficult to me. Siobhan and Jessica, your kind comments are best reward for me. Thank you so much!
Aurelia, I share the same idea with you. If there were only one boy on the beach , it would, to me , a Chinese, looks like he is koutou to the girl, interesting , but it is not what I want for this painting. That is why I put his friend there to keep the company. The girl would not look to be too divine and imperial. Aurelia, thank you.
Just beautiful!
Beautiful painting and contrast. For more vibrancy and more Sorolla's style I would add the white bright spots on the boy's skin and hair. Congratulations for this piece of art!
