Dorian, I enjoy your work too as they are so freely painted,  beautiful with special charm. We all have to thank Richard for his teaching.  By the way, the new music he used in the video is very sentiment and dramatic . I love it.  Dorian, let me give you a big hug...

Dear Dorian, thank you for your attention and approval.  Occasionally I can paint  better  than the most of time.

Thank you so much for your approval, Glenys. My sea and waves at the beginning looks like a wall. So , I went to observe the waves(I am living near the ocean) and by changing the value , temperature and movement to make it go ahead. Thanks to the wonderful teaching and guidance of Richard.

Robert, Thank you. I retourched it and put some more high light spot on the children. Hope that I did not ruin it.

Wow Ninging, this has stopped me in my tracks, beautiful job, lovely edges handled with obvious care and I really like the dramatic darks coming down from top and tempered with each successive wave. Excellent work.

Ann, Thank you.  You are so right, the darker colour and broad brushwork make a good contrast to the bright and finely painted young skin tones. Thanks to Richard for his wonderful teaching and guidance.

Beautiful Ningning !  The skin tones are warm and glowing. The dark colorful shapes in the sand a nd reflections make a very nice compliment to the softer figures.
