Thank you Richard very encouraging advice .
I do struggle with " loose" strokes and seem to have a tendency to fiddle or over work .
I will endeavor to practice with more bold strokes , thank you and all the artists for comments and I enjoy seeing all the wonderful work .
Yours
Mark.
Your sea looks wonderful; quite dramactic and I really like your distant mountains with the greens you have used.
Great distance achieved more through fine detail in background rather than change in colour. Trying to get looser brushwork in the foreground - great. Beware making even rows of grasses - break the shapes by adding random clumps between the rows.
Thank you Christina, I enjoy the challenges so much.
I also really enjoy viewing all the great work produced by the group.
Smiles to you all .
Splendid, well done Mark!
Thank you Refeala, Ana and Robert...all good fun !
Thank you Kevin, I enjoyed this one.
The scene is very close to my heart ....used to live right there before moving to Perth .
I very much like the perspective of the beach in this painting, Mark. The various triangular shapes in the painting are striking.
