Oil on canvas 12x16". This little exercise kept me very busy. I’ve scraped twice my “energetic brush strokes”. In the end, I use the painting knife to apply them. It could do with more scraping but I felt for poor canvas so, I’ve decided the leave it as it is. My friends, feel free to analyse it and comment.

Great Love it all. I know what Jon is saying about the cool greens but Pohutukawa trees certainly have that cool green in their leaves. Love the water

Hi, Ann - I too like the foreground modelling, etc. a lot . I feel though, that the trees/greens are too cold?
