Yes, the foreground ....I just find it difficult to paint " rut's and furrows" which are prevalent on this coast.

I see Richard paints them wonderfully, and I must practice !!

I did add a flax in my second attempt, but agree some more texture would be good....revisit perhaps :)

I like the way you depict depth in your painting by the positioning of the nearer and distant hills.
