Oh wow! This is really a beautiful job. I did this one, but am not completely happy with mine, as it was the first time I tried this idea. But, I LOVE the concept, and will be working to develop the abstract look.

Thank you for the comment on my shipyard. That one came easy, I love just splashing the paint on. Robinson gives us many ideas, and I just want to develop them all.

What state was your shipyard in?

Jess, this is just beautiful. I had just finished this workshop in the Art Funbox and found it a great learning experience. I love what you did.

I  love your painting and I am in awe of your ability to accomplish this with Acrylics.  You must paint very fast............smiles to you : ))

Thanks Stephen, I agree acrylics can be a pain!  I tried to work fast and blend while the paint was still wet. I have to confess, I have a bad habit of not cleaning my brush between colors. So blending wasnt too big of a problem. :)  In the foreground I painted the sand under the water first then added the reflections,  I tried to remember Richards instructions about painting calm water using only vertical and horzontal strokes.
