Got it thanks.
Hi Richard, No problem! Just uploaded a new one - let me know if that one works. Jess
Hi Jess, can you please email me a better photo of this painting? Need a higher resolution, bigger file size. Ta.
glad you liked it wendy! i was surprised at how much detail you can get with a credit card, at first i was thinking this is never going to work! this was a very eye opening workshop, glad richard put it together for us.
I really like the texture and the soft hazy atmosphere you have created with the spotlight on that beautiful sandy beach. I think you have made some lovely marks with your credit card that give it a very different effect from when mainly brushwork is used. I also really like the depth in the foreground using all those lovely colours for the undergrowth, trees and shadows and then the beach leads your eye back into the rest of the scene. Very nice.
Very nice Jessica. I have been away so couldn't do the workshop but will give it a go soon
Wow Hazel - that is quite the compliment!! Someday I hope I'll get to see this place in person - too bad it's such a long flight from here! You live in a gorgeous area.
Thank you Sharon - good grief this was a hard workshop! I enjoyed your painting also :)
Thanks Ann! Maybe I should ! Then I can justify spending extra on oils... :)
