Learning Points:
This is for Workshop 30. Broker Color. This painting was painted by looking at the shapes and colors of the ref photo. I used large brushes to apply bands and lines of color loosely especially in the water.
It was a struggle to load my brush with color and put a line of color down and not change it. I did go over some places, and even watching Richard do this painting about 2 dozen times, I still did not seem to get how he was doing it. I did some other paintings prior to this boat based on this lesson and will load them as well.

I know what you mean about making a stroke and leaving it alone. Easier said than done, but you did a wonderful job of brushstroke and color harmony.
