Lovely soft colours Rose. Gradation will  help  with  the  road The edges need softening a bit too.I would fill  in the bottom left cornerwith grass and make the  edge less uniform.

The vegetation is lovely - but the road is very predominant...

Hi, Rose,
I like your painting. I like how you have made the background misty, and set it into the distance. I also like the trees on either side and the path as it leads you into the picture. The tree on the left stops your eye, which then travels across the distance and tgen stops at the tree on the right, which leads you back up the path. VERY GOOD!

I see that your painting is on the cool side. I am assuming that it's like that because of the mist. If I were to offer a suggestion, I would ask you if you might consider darkening/gradating the path in the foreground to help lead the eye down that path even more. And perhaps use slightly warmer colors in the foreground as you do this to heightened the effect of the cooling mist.

That's my two cents on this painting. I can see how much you thought about what you were doing and how much care you took. I really admire hard work and effort! Thanks for posting this!
