Jon I like the contrast between the dark and light on the ships. The water looks cool and just a hint of reflection.  I feel a bit over whelmed with the darkly shadowed green behind the boats, the ships would stand out if you simplify and/or make less dynamic the background so we aren't distracted. Nice relationship between the ships and the drawing is great
