It's like Barry says, don't try to find your own style... it comes naturally... wicked colors of slimy paint, finally :-D

Yeah, right - my copy of Alla Prima is old - when it's that bad we say it's "wicked" ;D

Thanks a lot, Thomas, Ann, Laura, Steinunn and Ruby!
I always have problems with large areas of "nothing". How to make them look interesting by suggesting structures without painting details. To get better at it, i choose subjects where I need to deal with that. What i already learned is that the paintknife is useful for getting more variety. I guess It will take many of those to loose my fear of the nothing.
