Thomas, Congratulations for Art Gallery selection of your painting. It is a great composition and you have created a nice evening mood. I thought by darkening the top part of sky, you may be able to direct viewer's eyes more towards the horizon. But you are right it may create a tunneling effect.

Rajesh, thanks a lot for your kind words and your thoughts about this painting on top! The painting now hangs in a local art gallery... However, would be great if i could learn from it and ihave been about your suggestion. I am not sure what the benefit of darkening the sky would be. Probably it would get more of a tunnel feel. Not that that's bad... But why is it better? Would be great if you could drop a fee more words about it Rajesh!
